The United States Congress created the Veterans History Project to help preserve our heritage and history.  Veterans are being encouraged to tell their story either by audio interview, video interview, or written accounts of the events which they particpated in during conflicts the United States has fought during the 20th Century.

Bay High School students will be participating in this project by conducting interviews and taking steps to help veterans be available for interviews.

All interviews and written accounts will be submitted to Congressman Marion Berry, who will in turn submit them to the Library of Congress.  These interviews and written accounts will be available to historians, educators, and other interested persons.  It will help preserve our heritage and history.

We will be actively seeking veterans who would be intersted in particpating in this project.  In particular, we would like to locate veterans from Craighead and Poinset Counties.
